Veterans

America is the land of the free because of the brave – and we owe our veterans more than words. They put everything on the line for this country, and far too often, they come home to bureaucracy, broken promises, and second-class treatment. That’s unacceptable. 

As your Congressman, I will fight to ensure that every man and woman who wore the uniform gets the respect, care, and opportunity they have earned. 

I will:

• Fix the VA by cutting red tape, holding bad actors accountable, and expanding access to care. 
• Allow veterans to choose their own doctors through expanded private care options.
• Fully fund mental health services, suicide prevention, and programs that support veterans transitioning to civillian life. 
• Cut taxes for veterans and military retirees to honor their lifelong service. 
• End veteran homelessness through targeted housing support and job creation. 

Supporting our troops doesn’t end when they return home — that’s when it begins. I will make it my mission to ensure that no veteran is left behind and that every promise we make is a promise we keep.

Because when you fight for America, America should fight for you.
